Reduce information overload, organize thoughts, and build calm daily routines
Q: Is this tool built specifically for ADHD users?
A: This tool is designed for neurodivergent brains. It works for ADHD, autism, executive dysfunction, and people who get easily distracted. Neurotypical users are also welcome to use it.
Q: Is this a medical tool? Can it treat ADHD?
A: This is not a medical product. It cannot diagnose, treat, or cure ADHD. It is a productivity aid to help organize thoughts and lower barriers to task initiation. It cannot replace psychiatrist care, medication, or therapy. You may use it alongside your ADHD treatment, always follow guidance from your healthcare provider.
Q: How is this different from regular task managers like Notion or Todoist?
A: Traditional task managers require you to manually build lists and plan steps, which demands high willpower to maintain. We built it the opposite way: AI breaks messy thoughts into tiny, low-pressure tasks, reduces decision fatigue, and targets task initiation paralysis.
Q: I hate planning. Is this tool still right for me?
A: Absolutely. We don’t force detailed planning. You can dump fragmented thoughts into BrainDump anytime. No full daily schedule required; lightweight usage without complicated planning systems.
Q: What happens if I finish zero tasks one day? Is there a streak penalty?
A: There are no continuous streaks or streak-reset penalties. Skipping the site for a day won’t deduct points or create guilt. You can come back anytime.
Q: Does it sync across devices? Is there a mobile app?
A: Log in on the web with the same account and your tasks and BrainDump notes sync to the cloud. We focus on the web version first. You can open it directly from mobile browsers; there is no standalone mobile app yet.
Q: What is Magic Link login?
A: No password needed. Enter your email, and the system sends a one-time login link to your inbox. Click the link to sign in instantly.
Q: I submitted my email but never received the Magic Link email. What should I do?
A: Check your spam or promotions folder first. Magic Links expire after 15 minutes. Request a new link if it expires. Also double-check that your email address was entered correctly.
Q: Why won’t my Magic Link open?
A: Each link can only be used once and expires in 15 minutes. If expired or already clicked, it will stop working. Request a fresh Magic Link.
Q: Will my account log out automatically?
A: Your login session stays active for 30 days on the same device. Clearing browser cookies or using incognito mode will log you out early.
Q: Can I use the website in incognito browser mode?
A: You may open the page temporarily, but drafts and login status can easily be lost. Incognito mode is not recommended for regular use.
Q: Can I delete my account and all my data?
A: Yes. You can submit an account deletion request in your settings. After approval, all your notes and task records will be permanently erased.
Q: How many devices can log into one account at the same time?
A: Up to 3 concurrent logins, so you can switch between computer and phone easily.
Q: Will AI BrainDump do all my work for me?
A: No. AI only organizes thoughts and breaks work into small steps. It is an assisting tool and cannot complete tasks on your behalf.
Q: If I refresh the page while typing my thoughts, will I lose my content?
A: The editor has automatic draft saving. For important content, wait for auto-save to finish before triggering AI generation.
Q: Do failed AI generations consume my AI credits?
A: No. Failed AI requests do not use credits. Credits are only deducted when content generates successfully.
Q: Can I edit a single AI-generated task separately?
A: Yes. After AI output finishes, you may edit or delete individual tasks without regenerating everything.
Q: Can I copy or export the AI-generated text?
A: Yes, you may copy the text directly. You can save this analysis with the save button to export your content.
Q: Is there a character limit for a single BrainDump entry?
A: There is a character cap for each input. This prevents overly long submissions that create overwhelming blocks of AI output.
Q: What are credits?
A: Each AI feature like BrainDump or AI task breakdown consumes one credit. Manual task creation, Sensory First Aid and other non-AI functions do not use credits.
Q: What are the plan details?
A: Basic Plan: $7.9/month with 100 monthly AI credits; Pro Plan: $9.9/month with 200 monthly AI credits; Annual Plan: $89.99/year with 2400 total yearly AI credits.
Q: Can unused monthly credits roll over to the next billing cycle?
A: Monthly plan credits reset at the end of each billing period and unused credits do not roll over. Annual plan credits remain valid for 12 months.
Q: What happens once I run out of credits?
A: AI-powered features get paused. You can upgrade your plan to get more credits. Non-AI basic functions remain fully usable.
Q: Do new users get free trial credits?
A: New accounts receive a small bundle of free AI credits to test all AI features. Once free credits run out, you need a paid subscription to continue using AI tools.
Q: Will you store my notes and thoughts?
A: Your notes are linked only to your account for site functionality. We will never sell your personal content to third parties or use it for advertising.
Q: Will my inputs be used to train large language models?
A: No, your personal content will not be used for general AI model training.
Q: Can other people view my tasks and notes?
A: Only you can view them. Our staff may only access your content for troubleshooting if you explicitly grant permission.
Q: Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
A: You may cancel from your account settings at any time. Your plan benefits stay active until the end of your current billing cycle; no extra charges will apply.
Q: Will my task notes stay saved after I cancel my subscription?
A: Your notes and task data remain stored. Your AI credits will no longer renew, and AI features will be unavailable.
Q: What is your refund policy?
A: Refund requests can be submitted within 7 days after purchase. No refunds will be issued after 7 days.
Q: Does my subscription renew automatically?
A: Monthly and annual plans auto-renew by default and will charge at the end of each cycle. You can turn off auto-renewal anytime in your account settings.
Q: What can I do if the webpage loads very slowly?
A: Try clearing your browser cache or switching browsers. If slowness persists, send us feedback.
Q: How do I submit bug reports?
A: Use the feedback entry inside the website to describe your issue.
Q: Are there minimum browser version requirements?
A: We recommend modern Chrome or Edge. Older browsers may have broken functionality.
Q: Trouble signing in with your magic link?
A: We know how overwhelming and upsetting it can be when all you want is to get into your account, and login problems stop you right away. For ADHD brains, it already takes so much focus and mental energy just to try signing in. Running into errors mid-process can feel extra draining and frustrating, and we truly get that stress.
First, please check your spam, junk, promotions, social or update folders in your email inbox. Magic link emails often get filtered automatically and land outside your main inbox, even when everything was entered correctly. This is the most common issue we see.
Next, double-check the email address you typed into the login box. A single misplaced letter, missing dot, or typo in the domain will mean the magic link never gets sent to you. It is really easy to overlook small spelling mistakes when your thoughts feel scattered.
Magic links expire automatically 24 hours after you request them. If you saved a link and come back to use it a day later, it will no longer work. You will need to return to the login screen and send a brand-new magic link.
Avoid opening the same magic link on multiple browsers, devices or separate tabs at the same time. Using one link across several places can break the validation, and the link will fail to log you in.
If you receive the email, but clicking the link does nothing or loads a blank page: try copying the full link text, then manually paste it into the address bar of your browser. Sometimes email clients block direct link clicks for security reasons.
Browser cache, old cookies or extensions can also interfere with the sign-in flow. You can try clearing your browser cache and cookies, or open a private / incognito window to test the magic link again. Some ad blockers, privacy extensions and script blockers will block our login verification.
If your magic link says it is “already used”, this means this specific link was previously opened. Each magic link only works one single time, for security. You need to request another one.
If you requested multiple magic links one after another: only the newest link will be valid. Older links you requested before will stop working once a new one is generated.
We have covered the most frequent login hiccups here. If your specific issue is not listed above, or none of these steps help you sign in, please reach out to us via email, and we will work through this gently with you.
